Consider before you speak, mentally count to three..keeping peace in a relationship is difficult enough without the added folly of a fool's tongue. The tongue makes or break a relationship.  

Sweets or a taste of sincerity??

Would you rather be reprimanded for the wrongs you do so that you learn and become better or have sweets heaped upon you and end up getting diabetes and be sick for the rest of your life? The choice is yours. Not all who smile and pat you on the back are your friends...Remember that! 

Positive be-gets more positive

Life is all about marketing oneself...how you sell your self, your image, your feelings, your abilities xtra...xtra. 

How you see yourself is how people will see you. 

Do you believe in yourself? If you do, others will also believe in you. 

Do you love yourself? If you do, others will also love you. 

Are you  confident  you can achieve? Your confidence will convince others to place their  trust in you. It is all in the ways and manner, you project yourself!  It is all about being positive  to bring in more positiveness !

Have a cup of coffee with me friends!!

If you see a brethren losing hope and faith, encourage him , lest he loses his way and stray out of the fold .It is the responsibility of each and every follower of the faith community to re-energized the spirit of the faint hearted that courage and belief stands firm and tall. 
And again in real time living-Take time to have a cup of coffee with your family and friends. A few minutes of togetherness and you'll be surprised, how your love and relationship will flourish and bloom.

A time to renew connections and stay connected. ..a time to give treats and receive treats, indulged in good foods...a time to let down your hair..just enjoy and catch up with the latest news ...Most importantly of all...be among people who has as much greys as you! Just the person of  you! That's what SCM in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes tries to build up for their senior parishioners....memorable  moments.... I must say.. each and every time they organise such events...that special "Care" stands out..all thanks to a very hard working  and giving committee who go all out to give their best.The golden oldies that were played, added to the mood. So beautiful!! Great stuff guys, keep it up!!

Consequences of Progress-Big Eyes, Big Ears and Big Recorders

With  Big Brothers, Big Eyes and Big Ears all over the place, is there room for privacy, any space for your own private moments? The media report stories of  mentally sick people who go around planting hidden eyes in bathrooms, bed rooms, etc...Then there were those planted in public toilets and so on.....Frightening yes? Looks like no one can be trusted. Technicians who come  fix your water heater, may be tempted into such acts. There was a case in India -the intimate acts of a husband and wife were recorded and the person who planted it was none other than the woman's own father-in law, apparently, the husband couldn't care two hoots!! Talk about evil! Some wayward husbands are also in the act so don't  even talk about boyfriends!! We cannot be too careful and yet careful had lost its meaning because such gadgets are so cheap nowadays and these peeping Toms and intruders have a way of climbing through our security nets. 

They compromise your phones, 3rd, 4th ears could be listening in to your private conversations and your secrets broadcasted for the whole world to hear. Even if you are having a private conversation with a good friend, you may never know if your conversation is being recorded-ha! ha! smart phones can do wonders nowadays! Good lord, just about everything has more than one function in today's world. ! You cannot escape the unstoppable onslaught..the invasion of privacy...not since the invention of CCTV, the remote monitoring and the  long and short range "see, see, free show, and the listen! listen, listen !!" .

Lately, someone found a gadget in her car... Oh what about the movement trackers? Companies use it for a valid reason to track their staff who work out side the office whether it be a driver, a sales person  or technical staff-to protect their vehicles and goods and what nots. But many devious people are also using it to track and control  the people in their lives...on the pretext   of " caring " My foot!!

You are on stage all the time, everything you say and do is on camera and recorded. You computer has more virus than one...and of course more eyes than you imagine! Theft can happen in so many ways!! And of course no privacy lah! But perhaps, soon they will  invent a security force field to effectively shut out the prying eyes and ears...who knows??

If before, you do not understand the meaning of " walls have ears",  you ought to, now..but add in EYES as well yeah? Good gracious, I hope the smiles we see around us are genuine and not plastic!!

So, people, pray for the preservation of privacy! Let's just hope everyday progress does not advance to a stage where others could read our thoughts and steal our ideas right out of   our mindsl!! That is,  if  it is not already happening !!

Be conquerors in Jesus!

Shall tribulation, or distress,or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword separate us from the Lord Jesus Christ? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors, through Him who loved us.-Abstracted from :Romans 8-35,37

You have come with Love to redeem, to  unite us and bring us peace, let the power of the same love make us conquerors in thy holy name! 

In the same mode, lean on his holy strength -Conquer the weaknesses and the negativeness in you! Let ego stand in even balance neither too high lest your head is always in the clouds and you cannot see your feet nor too low, lest you are devoid of confidence and cannot rise up to be your own person- the person God wants you to be!

Appreciate the Lord God

Preserve me, O God, for in thee I take refugee

How many times, people who profess their love for us, 
look the other way, when  calamities hit us
How many times, those who proclaim delight in us 
turn their back on  us,
pretending  they do not see 
when we actually reach out in need!
Vanity, devious vanity!
In pain, we suffer alone
the Lord alone comforts us
He remains the steadfast rock
when darkness falls and
 the world desert you!

People! Keep time and space for the Lord God
He is the lifeline that keeps you going!
Without Him, you are nothing!
