He save others, let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen one!-Luke23:35 

They realised not, his mission is NOT for himself but others-..the  children banished from paradise...He had come to fulfil a promise of reconciliation ...He had come to redeem and save mankind and while they stood to mock and belittle Him, He bleeds to bridge the wedge, the rift and renew relationship between God and man. What Love, what sacrifice, that man may see Spring  and live once again!! 

Constantly exalting, giving glory to yourself and boasting of your achievements will not give you long term rewards, just "face" and the temporal shine of the moment. Beware, it may even stunt your growth - cause you the wrath of green eyed monsters and invite sabotages into your midst.  

Aim always to achieve, reach for the skies but be modest and thankful to God for your achievements. Commit to the Lord whatever you do  and more progress will come your way.

If only humans can learn to be contented with our lot!

Fire & Salt

For everyone will be salted with fire..Mark 9:49.......Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another..

I often wonder what it is to be salted with fire...As I reflected on it , this is what the quote tells me.....

Fire..it gives an image of flame, burns, pain, sufferings but it also promises purification, renewal, expelling negative elements from self. Life's bashing has its usefulness, it brings realisation. It quench ego. It restores sight and hopefully it spurs one into positive action.

Everyday brings  fresh experiences, knowledge and new insights.   The daily seasoning of salt, does enrich our living but humans that we are, we could never  completely be at peace,  with ourself and others around us. Despite the many lessons of life, we still do silly things and go off course.  Strange isn't it?? I wonder WHY? 

Perhaps, it's because there are just too many brands of salt in the market to distract us...in addition to the tons of "ajinomoto" and other flavouring agents which flood the shelves of hypermarkets and our regular grocery stores.  What say you people??

God's promise

And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them. Ezekiel 34:27

As sure as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West...continuing on its daily cycle, the promise of the Lord rings out...He shall and will deliver..because He is our God. He shall replace distress with joy, desolate with fulfilment when He sends his showers of blessings!

Ecclesiastes 1:7

All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they flow again.

A man's heart is never satisfied, no matter how much he has achieved or amassed. There is always a  longing and desire for more, something new...It is like the tide..comes in and goes out...Tell me how long does your attained joy , happiness and satisfaction last after each achievement and accomplishment? 

It is vanity...indeed it is!

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

If the Lord could be put to such a test for the sake of mankind, so will created Beings be tested and challenged throughout their journey. That's the toll, they have to pay, for the privilege of  life time in this humongous  Amusement Park of life. 

The spiritually strong survive the tests and their good works lives on, way after their physical frame had turned to dust .....The weak fades like the neon lights at the break of day..

You can't stop the waves, but you can learn
to surf.

Every word, every action, everything endured by the Lord is a lesson..a lesson of what life is. Whatever decided by the Lord God will come to pass. You will just have to learn to deal with life's unpredictability and keep rising up to the challenge. Do what is expected of you well. You are expected to do no less.

To understand life is to see the Kingdom of God...no one is free from pain, sufferings,sickness and death...it is a universal thing, not restricted to any specific person, race, creed or status.. 

Wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days. Job 12:12

By and by, wisdom tiptoed in. Alas! It almost always comes when silver sets in and dusk had gathered across the skies. 

And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold,; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd. John 10:16

And it shall indeed come to a pass...a day when ALL shall heed the voice of one shepherd, the good shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep for there is Only One God.-the author of your life and mine!
