Complaints

Someone once said that baseless Complaints puts you on reverse gear. Forward motion, is checked, pulled back -and you even have to find a way to stop your car rolling backwards.. Do you know that  positive energy get intimidated and shrink in size leaving a vacuum for the negative  to  take over, once  complaints and discontentments are allowed to gather momentum?  Complaints actually stops the smooth flow and reigns in your progress.. creating a bottleneck. If  your do not loosen the knot, more rubbish gets trapped around it and you will have a real situation.  Careful there.


We have all heard that thankfulness snowball into more thankfulness, but do you know that complaints begets more complaints? It is like a cancer cell, gnawing and pumping up in size each time you feed it with negative ions. Purge  dissatisfaction from self as much as possible.. Better still keep positive energy around you all the time. Instead of complaining, try to see the more positive side of every situation. You;ll be surprised how much brighter the world becomes!

Life is a Race

Do you know that in a race all runners compete, but only one receives the prize? 1 Corinthians 9

In a world where trillions and trillions thrive, everyone has been given different races to compete, according to their capabilities and abilities? . If you do not get a prize the first time, do not be discouraged. No one wins all the time, but everyone is given a chance to win their race at particular times.

The race for survival is a continuous process.Competition is a part and parcel of every day of living.Comfort zones are temporary relief centres, for you to take a breather and rejuvenate your spirit, after which you have to move forward-  learn new skills to conquer many other terrains, LEST  you  become obsolete -a monument - a structure without life. 

In the course of living, there are two race categories, every man  participate in, ..the .race for the perishable, to feed their worldly needs and obligations and it is imperative  as a human  and the second...or should it be the first? ...the race to attain spiritual wealth ...the fight to stay on the right course that keeps you close to  God and  journeying  is always about maintaining a good balance to live life well  and yet know your way, to return home safely. 

Musings

The ocean used to be such a mystery..but not any more...the wilderness was such a scary place..and yet it had been conquered and new structures rose up there...where the sea flows, now -reclamation brought in new land, concrete and thriving trade, to feed the needs of man. Science has progressed-innovated so many firsts.and life is prolonged.- fifty is the new forty or even thirty   ....we have moved from cannot to the CAN and the impossible to the possible.

There is so much hope and yet we see the face of disaster. We are so brilliantly inventive and creative that the false and the imitation have being reinvented to become the new gold and we happily lap in the alternatives..We take so much from earth and nature, not giving back sufficient in return that we bring about imbalance and nature lashes out in fury and yet we do not pay heed. Will there come a time when lush and greens  become barren and devoid of  life?? Will  man 's own greed bring about -more devastating natural disasters to wipe out good living from the face of the earth? Will we become nomads searching the cosmos for a taste of greens and simple pure fresh air?

Funny, isn't it that progress actually do  bring about regression if people are mindless  and do not consider the future? Will  there come a time when man has to survive on food pills?  Will religion vanish from the face of the earth???. So many people think they are gods...so can they do without God? ...I really wonder!

You are the light of my life!

Thy Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalms 119:105

How often have I lost my way, how often, have my spirit failed me when ailments strike me, when troubles befall me...every moment, when desolation stalk me..Oh God, I have been guilty of blaming you..I have been guilty of not leaning on you and losing myself in my hopelessness.  I thrashed about, in fruitless circles, sweated to no avail. When dead ends looms and walls come crushing in, each and every time,  it's your light that fully shines for me-soothing- restoring  calm and dignity-the direction of the next and the morrow..  And I have so much to thank thee!

Rise above the tough

Have you noticed just how much stronger you become, each time, you rise above self pity and  start making use of the power in you to get going? Only when you are forced to, will the best of you emerge to bring you victorious across the victory line.

Despite,  the many challenges and stumbling blocks, somehow, you stay afloat. Slowly but surely, you recover. You know that you have to be strong, you have to be resourceful and you have to succeed no matter what, if you want to  survive. So you mobilise the tough, and got it going. Remember how exhilarated you were, when your finally succeeded?  Sometimes, the cruelty of others start the flame burning and that propelled  you forward to be somebody. In fact for many people, if it were not for the twists and sometimes,  uncaring attitude of others, they would not be what they were today.

It was said that , if you push someone off their  comfort seat and  make them  hungry enough,   they can become extraordinary. Every person has it in them to be super duper  when the need arises. . No one goes into the dark tunnel and remain inside forever. Their survival instinct will rise to the fore and  find the way out for them. Tackle the tough! You are made of stronger stuff than you think! 

Make it your mission to achieve your vision.

I tell you, that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Luke 19:26

Over the years, the  parable of the talents grew in beauty. Each time, I read it, fresh insight seems to speak to me. Once upon a time, there was this irritated questioning....didn't he say..blessed are the poor ,the weak and the meek? Why is it then,  that the rich gets richer and the poorer gets poorer? Worse still....the frightening words..."even what he has will be taken away." Mighty unfair and contrary to teachings., I used to fumed. 

But as the years rolled by, I realise...."more" is given to him who has because, he/they are the doers and do not sit around waiting to be fed. The doers are  those who put into action their vision, and makes it their mission to gather and plant more for good  harvest and so their wealth multiplies...They never say die. More often than not,  the "have nots"..moan  .."I don't even have  sufficient for daily survival,  how can I buy more seeds to plant more? " 

I am inspired by people like Loh Boon Siew who was so poor..he had to wash buses to supplement his income after his other works are done, He wasn't afraid of manual work and sweat. In fact  he  totally  maximised whatever little resources he had using  his brains and energy power to improve his lot. He  never received a formal education and yet..what a big "towkay" he became!

The Lord's parable makes so much sense now....you really have to work-to give your all, and in a sense take risks  in order to receive.. get moving -your energy, your hard work...your determination, tap into wisdom..to rise up above your lot. Each time, you receive good, be very appreciative and give back a little. Somehow it flows in a circle accumulating more goodness to return to you.. Closer to home and the ground. -you must be willing to be an active and positive part of friends, family and community, be appreciative of their presence, and reciprocation flows in abundantly. Certainly the one talent, buried away...will remain insignificant and of no increased value..so why shouldn't it be given to someone else who is prepared to enhance it for the glorification of its master? 

Keep a portion of yourself private..

Listen to this my good friend..He sets on high, those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety..He frustrates the devices of the crafty and the schemes of the wily are brought to a quick end...so the poor have hope, and injustice shuts her mouth. Job 5:11:13, 16.

My friend, your pain  is the work of the arrogant. They think they have a permanent abode in this Land of the Journeying..they thrive on the tears and sufferings of others for their happiness and they think they are above punishment. Aha! Do  they  think, peace and goodness will remain with them? ...At a time, they need peace most, it shall be taken away from them. It is the law of the universe,  what goes round, must come around. 

Take everything in its stride as a learning. In this world where evil rules, many wolves have donned sheep's' clothings and infiltrated our safe zones,  homes, friendship turfs, church, religious communities . The people closest to us are normally targeted as tools for the dirty works because  we tend to confide and speak freely to this group of people. In today's world..it pays to be discreet and mindful of what you say or do, keep your private chamber closed and off limits to others. .  Remember, who betrayed the Lord...one of his closest. One of his twelve. A little money, a little job and business opportunity...a little push of the ego.. get lots of dirty work done and who cares for our feelings?

FOR THE SUPPORT OF A GOOD FRIEND WHO WAS CRUSHED WHEN SHE DISCOVERED THAT THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE PROTECTING AND CHERISHING HER WERE THE BADDIES  BEHIND HER MISERIES AND SUFFERINGS. Sometimes evil makes use of our best friends and our loved ones to get at us..but do not lose strength, just keep moving forward......protect yourself, do not be so trusting and open all the time. It is ok to keep a part of yourself private, there's is no need to share everything. God Bless!

Let deceit be condemned, let the tongues of those who lie and deceive the trust of others be forever muted, for they have done grave injustice to Love , for their own selfish gain. They are thieves who vandalised the pastures of faith and broken the  hearts of the trusting and believing! Oh, Greed! Self Ambition! How you destroy the peace of others who believe in you! How you demean the might of God  as you theft and plunder through the peaceful pastures of  others!

You gobblers of peace..you evil doers, you inflicter of miseries , you devourer of your neighbour's sweat and gains.. You who down-trod those unable to defend themselves -the weak and meek. Do you no longer fear God's power and might?  Is He no longer your God that you  go about your lawless ways?

Do not  for granted take  His patience and love. Surely, patience rains thin and His wrath shall rain fury on your evilness and what you have, vanishes in His scorching  fury! Not only yours, but the providence of your generations! They say the sins of the father affects the sons. Be aware!

Stop prying over-much into the private chambers of others. Stop curtailing the freedom of others! Stop stealing from others! Stop obstructing others! They too have a right-of Will, peace, goodness, fertile soil upon the passage of time!~

Wait your turn to claim HOPE in its crystal Form

Because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will set your captives free from the waterless pit. Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore you double...Zechariah 9:11-12

Have we not been told, to trust and be patient in our hopes...for until the Lord declares it is time, to be lead from the waiting into the beholding and receiving room, we shall remain a prisoner of hope.Therefore, let your waiting hope not be anxious-but believing so that your steps will be sure and full of faith and you contently go on with your given tasks until it's your time to claim your hopes in its living crystal form and  surely, He will restore you double as he promised when the day comes, because you trusted and believe in Him.
