For from east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up; but it is God who executes judgement. putting down one and lifting up another, For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, with foaming wine, well mixed; and He will pour a draught from it and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs..

But I will rejoice for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob; All the horns of the wicked He will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted...

Psalms 75

Alleluia ! It was indeed a joyous and soul provoking celebrations  this evening! Truly, one has to love God first before   true love could genuinely flow for others in our lives......The Lord says in John14  "whoever keeps my commandments is the one who loves me and if he loves me, he will also be loved by my Father; I too shall love him and show myself clearly to him"...and...I will not leave you orphans..I am coming to you....I will ask the Father and He will give you another counsellor..

We are not alone in our journey, the Lord travels with us.....the Spirit of  Truth guiding and counselling us in our hour of uncertainty  and doubts.....the past weeks and month had been havoc, busy , educational .... fun even...she was also inspired ......unfortunately, that  was also a month  she was spiritually challenged and troubled. and so tested.......

To God she had turned and to God she had bared her soul.......surely, He would not let her be tested beyond her endurance....

Amazingly..,and God be praised! Peace returns.....this evening....the hymns picked for the mass celebrations brought the Spirit of God so closed and with His presence -serene healing grace. Peace and Calm..You are indeed the utmost grace that showers serenity , tranquility , the stillness-  allowing us  to  hear the caring voice of our Lord God.. and know that He is with us...

What a week ! A time of decision, a call for strength........ A time of awakening.. A time to Trust, hold firm to Faith......in life, you can depend on no one except the Lord....She echoes the new Amercian Idol -Scotty's,  thanksgivings for  the Lord's presence in her life.

Thank you Lord...for the renewed faith and trust...thank you for your light and grace!

In Thee, Oh Lord do I seek refuge; let me never be put to shame; in thy righteousness deliver me! Incline thy ear to me, rescue me speedily! Be thou a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me!

Yes, thou art my rock and my fortress; for thy name's sake lead me and guide me, take me out of the net which is hidden for me, for thou art my refuge......Into thy hand, I commit my spirit; thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God...Psalm 31-1:5

LOVE IS,,,,,

They say "love means never having to say sorry,", but Marie says, it is not taking people who loves you for granted....it is NOT doing all the  things  you want and expect others in your life to accept and understand. The "if you love me, you will understand" thing??Utter rubbish!!! If anyone loves another, that person would go all out to care and action that care...they will love and try to please , the object of  their love..... make them happy, make them contented... ....Remorseful for any wrongdoings...say sorry..and never ever repeat the same mistake again....Love means  giving happiness to another.....being happy because that someone in your life is happy ......love is ....always, always be there for that special someone in your life......

So many goodbyes....and today, Marie attended yet another  prayer meet   for the soul of  a brother in  her BEC....death! it can be so unexpected.....one thing for sure...we all have to depart one day......one will not know when the call will come... and when it comes....you will have to leave everything behind and heed the call.

Once more, it brings to mind, that life's journey is so, so  short ...People!!! you who  have worked hard, all your lives, sometimes, too hard .....take some time off and just love yourselves...doing things you  really , really wanted to do but never had the time nor the means.........Don't leave it until it is too late...

Have you told your loved ones, how much you love and appreciated them??? Have you taken time to be with them....action your loving care???? Confess to your beloved, your love???Those of you, especially children of parents, who love you so much...have you told them how much you appreciate them, their sacrifices...Have you given back in love, honour and respect???

Reach out People, before the opportunity vanishes and your voice is taken away .....leaving the words of love or gratitude forever hidden and silent in your heart...... unsaid...unknown.......Reserve some energy to  pamper yourselves....start loving yourselves Now ....and others will start to love you..

Never could find the time to sit down and have a good conversation with your God???? Start now, today, lest,  the gong suddenly sounds for you..... and you have not had the time  to make peace with your God...yet.....perhaps not even a hello  ....and that would be very, very  sad for you indeed!

Marie too wishes to make peace with her God....and in turn find peace and fulfilment...

A Cocoon struggles and finally after a long while......breaks free and emerges, beautiful to behold...so too the spirit and the soul constantly battles..to preserve, their spiritual  faithfulness to the Lord God. We pray, through  His grace, ....in every battle, we emerge beautiful and victorious   ....

The world around us is a frightening place and evil of all sorts and forms exist.....many wolves are in sheeps' clothings, ready to devour..or lead you to destruction .......scariest part is.....many do not play fair, they delight in  spiritual warfare.
.

We people of faith and love have nothing to counter save pray...being  patient.... look to the grace and light of the Lord God. We are followers of One who is LOVE and Goodness......Sigh!!!!Sometimes, it is so, so very difficult to be Christian! And yes, Autumn here had pinched her Lord God, blue black over this issue.....many, many times...of course..contrite and remorseful later.....Wonderfully He does not send thunder and lighting...but  responsed in LOVE

This morning, she was immensely touched by the assurances from Psalm 23: 


The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.....He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul He leads me in paths of righteous for his name's sake...I fear no evil for thou art with me, for thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me......Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever...

So Beautiful, so Soul liftingly comforting...such a world of promise and reassurances, How could she not love You Lord??!

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me . ...He will bring me forth to the light; and I shall behold his deliverance...then my enemy will see and shame will cover her who said to me....Where is the Lord your God?  Michah 7:8,10

Sharing of Bread

In the gospel of Luke 24:13-35....two  disciples were going to Emmaus... wondering  at all that had happened...when the Risen Lord came and began walking with them... explaining the scriptures to them, ....but they did not recognise them... until ,  He took bread, blessed it and gave it to them...and their eyes were opened and they recognised Him in the breaking of the bread..........

This  act..... the breaking of bread and offering it to the disciples.... to Marie, .it signifies  a sharing of life...., a showering of strength and a renewal of faith....and the certain presence  of the Lord  in every Eucharistic celebrations.... He is Arisen, but  His Spirit remains very much  with us. Marie believes that  when the priest holds up the bread and blessed it,  the Holy Spirit comes and fills the  unleavened bread and it becomes the body and blood of our Lord Jesus....and whoever partakes of this bread of life ....is healed and renewed...and has the breath of life breathe into him again...
.

How many of us recognise the presence of the Lord in our lives????How many times, the Lord walked with us, carrying us over rough and troubled patches in our lives and we did not recognise His presence...nor appreciate his goodness....how many times, He hasten to our side, when we cry out to Him and yet , despite our cries.....we rejected His life-line....we were too busy hanging on for dear life..the fragile tree stump hanging on the cliff front, .....ignoring the strong ropes, of survival....He sends.

The thing about us humans,  even in our darkest moments, we could still  be very demanding and want every thing our way..........often...... very often, when grace comes..........our eyes do not see....and we push it away from us.
'

Look to the  bread of life, those of us who wishes to experience God......partake of it frequently that our eyes may be opened that we may see.....draw strength and acknowledge the Lord's  Divine Presence in our lives...It makes a tremendous difference.....believe me.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!

We are the Best! We are the Gems of the world...Are we not,  Mothers??? Happy Mother's Day!!!. Mothers come and share in the warmth and goodness.....motherhood brings! And you guys and children out there, shower appreciation and ask for God's blessings on your wives, MOTHERS, the joy, love and care they bring into your lives and yes, the direction, the strength and the steadfast support tooo!! A Mother's job is never done.....she continues nourishing.......cherishing...

Death, tis  a sweet release, to the soul called home; ..... .....he moves from darkness to light and  into everlasting peace;..........happy to be going home..., totally healed.........and he calls out to the living ..... let go   .......let go.........., lest you agonise and grieved needlessly............causing  us, who had passed on  to falter in our journey home........

That's the stoory of life....a begining and an end.....it is how you live life that counts....how well you tend life's garden...that earns you the reward of heaven's open door.........at the end of your time..

Our Lady of Lourdes Klang, Easter Fellowship, 1st May 2011, Imperial Restuarant, Klang

Spectacular! Fun, Joyous! An Extraordinary display of talent! A Walk down Memory lane! That's the Easter Fellowship organised by Our Lady of Lourdes Klang, Sunday evening.

The Voice, the Lyrics, the Music!!

Young and Seniors, clapping and singing along with the music and the evergreen melodies... the cheers, the cat calls!!! Body swaying to the rhythm and the beat,  fingers snapping to the lyrics ......Good Gracious are those the same sober , immensely,serious church goers, she normally sees?? Why these people literally flow with the mood of the evening...no age barriers...no..you....me...........just       US    ... the joy of being together...

Marie was sitting with this group of very young, vibrant youngsters, gorgeous young ladies and young men..perfect gentlemen...it was a joy being in their company...courteous, fun ; she could blend in........Table 86! She felt 18 again! Rejuvenated !...and she  gets to eat most of the portion too...young people, they do not eat much nowadays......and auntie , No, simply Marie, or Sister will do..... she thought of asking them...their  secret ...just how do they keep their stomach juices...non committal to the continuous flow of food  being served???

What this writer really liked, was the way the organisers kept the whole event..vibrant...lively, and they gave it the KISS touch....  this Writer thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship entertainment, great band....... especially,the young and very powerful voice of the veteran singer of the evening, ... .....she grew up listening to those melodies....and yaah, she so loved those evergreenies....... ....it brought yesterday back to the present......
