Faith by itself without works is dead

If anyone thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this man's religion is vain. James 1:26. 

What does it profit, my brethren if a man says he has faith but has not works? If a brother or a sister is ill clad and in lack of daily food and one of you say to them..:Go in peace, be warmed and filled." without giving them the things needed for their body, what does it profit? So faith by itself if it has no works is dead."James 2:14-16

Many are in poverty, seeking comfort, some warmth, a little something to fill their stomach. Many though they have, yet are empty within..and they reach out for understanding, friendship and direction. How many within the fold look the other way...instead of empathy,  injure and cause more emptiness with their tongues? How many hold on to the word of Faith and yet are faithless in their actions? How many look and yet uses only their tongue instead of  works? And yet how many imposes their will just for a drop of water? How many are brethren in name but  wolves in reality, and in their jealousy, and under cover stealthily  cut away the branches -the growth and progress of people who trust them?  

The  year of faith is soon coming to a close and yet HOW  many of us have emulated the footsteps of the Good Samaritan?    How many have brought  life to Faith,  working and breathing love  through  practice of true religion?  

James: 1: 27  Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: visit orphans and widows IN THEIR AFFLICTION and to keep oneself  unstained from the world.  The mission of the year of Faith.,.,it is not  not only holding on to the symbol of FAITH  and RELIGION, it is getting into the ACT of the Good Samaritan!!
