Letting go

I thanked a wonderful person this morning. The unselfish supporter and provider of opportunities behind the scenes. Someone who understands. Thank you once again and God Bless!!.

Writing is my greatest passion...that is the footprint I wanted to leave  firmly entrenched upon the sands of time. But opportunities and rewards fell below wants -insufficient  to power up the engine and keep in momentum,  the words  and lyrics from my heart and soul  and turn them into a continuous flow of  music  and songs... It is really not about the material  harvest...most writers understand that point. Happiness is when your words come alive and form their own characters; when your words bring a smile to the faces of your readers and your sharing -inspires.. When someone finds light through the contents of your work...when they find comfort and warmth...when you bring hope to others.

But sometimes, having a passion and  a dream  is just not enough. You need more than an appreciative audience, you need great contents and facts. You need to have the talents to punch wisely and the ability to bring out the full picture, in a way your readers comprehend and are receptive. You  need the critical, vital "big bang   force " to turn  your dream, and passion into life.To do that you will also need good angels to power up your engines- people who are willing to support and help you realise your dreams. And methinks, good writing is also a great way of Giving. Do it without expectations  and the reward comes in many folds,  satisfaction to the heart and the soul. Great feeling!

Life's journey  has so many challenges..sometimes these challenges obstruct our dreams.  Sometimes God may also be trying to tell us something. 2013 is a time to let go and be more practical    It was sweet dreams for a while, I did accomplish certain goals and I thank God for that.

Blogging is in my blood  and I will continue to blog about church activities and anything that interest me. That,  to me is relaxation . Striking gold  from writing? Let's leave it to the more talented and the gifted!
