Thank God for Home!!

I have never been so happy to step on Malaysian soil than after days away exploring the very scenic  mountains, hills and  lakes of Guilin , Longsheng, Yangshuo and Nanning-.the daily morning calls to be up on time for the bus ride from one location to the next. The daily rush.....The sumptuous 8-10 course lunches and dinner..you have no means of doing justice to -so oily... not everyone could stomach...They do attempt to feed you well....but at the end of it everyone was craving for nasi lemak!!!

The  air, the familiar sights....the welcoming lights of KLIA....the sound of our very own . Malaysian  languages,...Malay, English, Manglish..Tamil .... dialects, colours and flavours....Food...ah! the smell of home!!

It was a wonderful, wonderful..holiday...thank the good Lord, for His Gace and Protection.....

BUT behind every picture, there lurks  a shadow. A couple of people in my tour group were victims of  very skilful snatch and run thieves. You don't even know you have been robbed until, later. All the victims felt were a slight brush against them, ordinary, very ordinary..in a crowded environment. The money were in their side pockets, quite deep down, mind you...but within seconds..they were gone. Talk about skills!!Thank God, no documents went missing. No wonder  the tour guides sang  their  daily mantra...be on guard...  keep your money and valuables within your sight....Back pockets are out!!

I tell you guys, nothing like Home!!
