Oh Time! How swiftly, you fly past...seconds...minutes to hours, days to weeks,  months...and ....with a blink of an eye....a year passes by ......Too fast,  she laments...hei.. too fast! Time....She values your ticking seconds and minutes, she cherish your every  moment ! She is mindful of the setting sun as she hurries  to  make the most of the day light hours... Harvest  she must, her many heart's Desires......

Long life comes to anyone who honours a father, whoever obeys the Lord makes a mother happy. Such a one serves parents as also the Lord. Respect your father in deed as well as word, so that blessing may come on you from him since a father's blessings makes his children's house firm, while a mother's curse tears up its foundation.

Do not make a boast of disgrace overtaking your father, your father's disgrace reflects no honour on you, for a person's own honour derives from the respect shown to his father and a mother held in dishonour is a reproach to his children.

My child, support your father in his old age, do not grieve him during his life. Even if his mind should fail, show him sympathy, do not despise him in your health and strength; for kindness to a father will not be forgotten but will serve as reparation for your sins.On your own day of ordeal, God will remember you: like frost in sunshine, your sins will melt away, Whoever deserts a father is no better than a blasphemer, and whoever distresses a mother is accursed of the Lord.

Sirach 3

Nothing is more beautiful than wisdom from the Book of Life....this writer finds  glorious light beaming out from  the very pages of the living book, because the words and teachings contained within , is timeless -without a season, growing and gaining in value as time advances...One- may be a baby now.....but One day, the baby will become an adult and he will become a parent himself. # Did he give due respect, honour and love to his parents to deserve the good blessings that come from being a parent, himself???

Keeping  and observing  the wisdom of God's teachings, brings solid  kins-ship, and loving relationship is built and preserved,  good family bonds and ties are fostered...and  the institution of marriage and family -strong and firm, ultimately, the gift of   peace and serenity.

Season of Advent

Indeed! and He is Everything that lights up this universe! Open your hearts, let the good Lord enter  and fill you/us with the gift of peace....and everything good. Doesn't the very thought of  Peace filling us , add joy to this season of Advent???

Christmas...the story of God's promise holding true..in the form of a little innocent baby-Emmanuel...Jesus, the Christ...

bringing God into our midst and  our lives.......the trusting faith of  a virgin maiden who consented to God's call............ with that act of faith ...the never ending light and hope into the lives of mankind.....It is about re-conciliation with God,  the grace of belonging to His  household and  the precious right to call the power of Love  and Creation--our God and Father.

It is the joy of remembering that great promise and love of God..which makes Advent -a season of joy, peace and grace.....  actioning love and care for others........doing charitable works...a season of forgiveness and reconciliation.  Yes....It is  certainly a season of giving... making an effort to give happiness and joy to ...those less fortunate than us....

As Christmas draws near and we prepare to celebrate  and feast, .. Folks....let us pause and pray for those in war torn countries.....the homeless and the sick.....they who are grateful for JUST  a simple meal and roof over their heads....JUST  PEACE in their lives....

Year End Spring Clean

A week long spring cleaning ***pre-Christmas gift*** from the bosses, it was, at YT's work place-
The  Autumn Roses  worked hard, real hard..but five days into the task there is still a mountain to clear. The Spring blossoms were cool as cucumber, but they are warming up fast and certainly adding to the fun!

Yesterday, .....when the limbs were nimble and flexi active ...this Autumn Rose could practically bounce up and down effortlessly, stretch like Elastic man ...what's the problem?? Just-A, and B, and C......no creaking of bones no aches...wink of an eye and all was done.......but the last few days....what bounces and rebounces were groans and aiyoh! aiyoh.. ayiyakkkk.....echoing around the office walls......sigh!..... somehow, the bones needed oiling, re-adjustment, and re-alignment after each bending and squatting session....Even getting up from the floor is a...chore.....Now she know....what  means the words...., the spirit is willing but the body and bones groans... and protests!!!!

Good thing, there is  de-stressing therapy  called " mumbles and grumbles: ... ...ah! how clean and fresh the inside feels after each series of gun rattling.....

What she needs is a gadget which fully comprehends her mind...sorts, labels, dust, cleans  and put everything in order without her getting into physical mode...  Yah, cleans and sanitized the air -no dust ...no odour ...... 100% Mind control ... mind crystallising wants......So what  say  you Santa????... Still Working on that one...???? Then bring on Samantha, the good witch ..one, two and three....twitches of her nose and viola! it is done!



Merry Christmas Boss!!!!!

Lift me up Oh God.....Thy Shield,  Thy Peace , Thy Grace, Love, and Joy fill my days!

Happy the man, who has trust and faith in God.

More than true.. because , happiness is so relative, momentarily, occasional even...as long as the passion last and the heart is contented but contentment cannot be contained because the heart wants to conquer more territories and chart more boundaries. Unpredictability is the name of Human nature.. Greed, dissatisfaction... desires,expectations, wants-  somehow, they   keep on growing. Then there are the needs of others to think of..... in any relationships- our happiness, very often depended on their happiness, especially -off springs,  our partners , etc......

When she was young, this writer was so idealistic, to her love, happiness, relationship- is a forever thing, it is there for the taking, like plucking juicy pears from the fruit trees.....the world is so rosy and spells TRUE, SINCERE, and FOREVER -  but life's journey, has taught her that nothing comes easy, you have to work hard for everything, you have to learn to appreciate and value....just about everything...you have to compromise and give and give and give..... of course, you receive too, but it is in giving, you receive much more......Happiness takes on a different meaning...it becomes -the peace,happiness, success and joy of  others in our lives...our loved ones.....

The world is like a mirage, sometimes...a dream ...appearances can be deceiving, deceitful..... hurt and pain sometimes comes from the people closest to us. In the sixties and seventies...eighties even...friendships were purer but today....plastic has set in...everybody has their own agendas.. ...But when we place our trust and faith in God, we avoid the pitfalls, He leads us from  treachous paths to firm solid grounds...

Yes, as the evening sun start setting in.... God,  becomes more  prominent and meaningful. We begin to appreciate His Presence more....our eyes are more open but most importantly, God, is constant, consistent -always there for us....providing warmth....listening...comforting...guiding....and always giving....Take my hand, Lord and be there for me!!!

Yellow roses, ...breathtaking, astonishingly  beautiful!    Petals....delicate , yet regal and fresh as the morning dew! How graceful, you stand to  honour the Holy Mother of God!And she smiles, gently approving and extremely appreciative of your marvellous countenance! Yes, yellow roses certainly becomes her, the golden hue of yellow blending in so well with her sparkling  holiness!

Hello Bali!!



Bali is at its best during the  Galungan Festival - the New Year Festive for the predominately Hindu community  in this fabulous  Indonesian Island

God is very much in the centre of this Balinese community , especially where the farmers and rice planters dwells. This Writer marvelled, at the elaborate decorations, ritualistic  worship and thanksgiving on this auspicious  day. It was a full day affair starting- early morning till night. They  come in full traditional Sunday bests - baskets full of fruits and offerings,  perch firmly on top of their heads,  swarming into the numerous temples and places  of worship. And they worship with such reverence..., they do not care for the dusky floor....or fear soiling their beautiful clothes....kneeling and bowing with such heart.....it is so touching!

Temples were everywhere-huge imposing structures fronting roadsides- smaller ones  in the midst of sprawling rice fields, fronting the seas, even the compounds of homes -house elaborate but smaller structures of  worship......exceedingly amazing , and so uniquely Bali!

Overwhelming, the rustic charm, the feelings of  being in touch with God, the winds, the waves, the trees, the earth ,and nature !! Wow!  And YT loves the fresh, clean air ( you could almost feel it cleaning the toxin out of your lungs!!!) and the very peaceful country side atmosphere- it is extraordinary!   My! So green....so serene..... Ya! that's the  appeal of  Bali!!. There is the crystal clear  blue and green seas- the beautiful skies., with  white fluffy clouds....,  clear sandy.beaches....and jungle-cool, shady and relaxing greens -yes real jungle  -close-real close- touching distance....- creepers, bamboos, the works! and believe it or not fruit trees, nanka, bananas, coconuts.... ageless banyan trees ..flowering plants, all in the vicinity of shopping complexes.. and concrete! Funny, they actually add to the charm. There is a feeling that even if you were lost deep in the woods or jungle, you will not starve...there are plenty of fruits to sustain you....

Whilst travelling along tiny, narrow roads  (  one side is a steep fall ., so careful there!!..) snaking up and down the hills, thick with undergrowth and all types of trees, you wonder at the loneliness...whether it is safe to drive along such roads???? and then, suddenly, you see women folks, their heads laden with fruit baskets walking up the road and you wonder....where they came from and then... you spied those houses a midst the trees.....gosh! almost like they were from another dimension...you know fairies of the jungle...like the ones, you read in the story books.....How do they manage when dusk falls and night reigns??? Maybe, the jungle will be flooded with magical lights ...

Wonders of wonders....you get to see and touch awesome colourful corals just two feet into the water....All it needs is for one to wake up a little early and take a leisurely stroll along the sea shore and the marvels of  the sea reaches out to  greet you "happy morning"! Fishes swim around your feet  , as you stepped into the water. At the edge where the sea splash gently on to the sandy shore,  tiny and not so tiny crabs scattered  wildly, as you draw near to them..  ...and oh, they could be so shy!!!  This writer was so charmed,!!! She felt like a giggly five year old,  chasing after the tiny creatures, trying to stop their flight and disappearing  into their own  sandy world of refuge.

  

 It is a no wonder, they call this -The Island of the gods!!

The calm and serenity, thou has given me...smiles contentment and warmth, my autumn days and I glorify thee, My Lord God!

A lighted candle of forgiveness

The moment, she felt his touch, this writer knew, she had finally made peace with her God. The last secret door had sprung opened and   the bitterness , which had rusted, twisted and knotted within....freed itself  allowing peace to flow in.......forging understanding and love and that did not happened until, she had placed her candle among the others.....knelt down with an earnest prayer in her heart.... He is definitely present tonight! How many were touched, she does not know, but she is grateful for the healing grace, which fills her heart with forgiveness and in return..she felt forgiveness herself. Yes, she is ready to move forward...and ahead . Praise the Lord!

Removing Cancerous Growths

Preparing for a healing session with fasting, ...is a self chastening act, contrite, acknowledging one's own sinful state-, short comings, lacking and comes with an individual's  sincerity and desire for healing ...You are preparing yourself to be cleanse in an act of total surrender....so that when you come before the Lord, the spirit and  soul-prostrates themselves before the Healer, feeling sorry, humble, trusting..yet  full of appeal :-

".God, Father...in humility, and faith....I  come before Thy Divine Presence....I am sorry Father,  forgive, embrace me,...shower thy healing grace upon me...."

A healing session opens up a wounded person's pain kept locked away in his heart...clean up the wound, flush out the dirt....paving the way to healing and  ridding  a person of his  cancerous turmours which had been eating away at his essence ; restoring his well being.

Yours Truly, had, had the opportunity of attending  a healing camp , many , many moons ago...this was  held over a three days period, and attended by affluent business persons, children of high profiled corporate figures, successful people, and managers like yours truly.....and they all had issues, locked away in their hearts, which needed to be flushed out. Some of the issues were so painful , the unlocking process was like a lash of violent tempest and it took tremendous efforts on the part of the leaders, (luckily they were all trained individuals  with some of them in the medical profession) to guide a person out of his distress. She understood their painful secrets and  guilts   had obstructed their progress, their ability to  live  life, as they should  etc...etc.. . 

After the  unburdening and flushing out of the cancers.. many attendees reported a definite lightening of their hearts , clarity and a surge of confidence and energy to move forward.   Those days, we pay for such healing camps and they don't come cheap. She was fortunate because her then company considered her important enough to sponsor her camp, after one of the bosses, came back full of  marvellous testimonies to share.

Friends,  Let the 1st Friday, of Dec be the day, you unlock your inner most heart- rid yourself of any guilts, unburden yourself and seek healing grace from the Lord God, that you may continue your journeys, free  of any cancers that may obstruct life's living. Take that all important step folks, it could very well change your whole horizon!!

Hate Traffic Jams!!

Recently, the weather had turned crazy, dark clouds, torrential rain and floods everywhere . If there is no rain, the sun would be so blazing hot, you just want to shut yourself inside the house, stay in behind heavy curtains....until, the rays loses its biting heat. Travelling to and fro highways, in such unpredictable weather is a battle....Yours Truly does not drive an auto, she has a lovable manual and it is an absolute ahhhhdoi all the way.... brakes, clutch......her feet cries for mercy....whenever there is a massive traffic jam ...you know the type that locks in the traffic and you have to play the balancing act....

To stay ahead, one needs precise and calculated actions, an alert mind, a little foresight to anticipate movement .....to stay ahead of the bottled up jam....fast action, grap any opportunities you can ...it is a survival of the fittest out there , A quick  ....out.. and a fast zoom into  a moving lane OoooR....... you could be like Yours Truly, when she finds herself boxed in, she would slowly inch out much to the annoyance of other sleeker and more macho drivers....There would be an instant Blarrrrrrrr! Poohhhrrrrr.poohhorrrr!!!!and she would raise an apologetic hand and mouthed a "sorry, sorry, sorry!!" across...Ladies would show a very sour face...and the men??? normally with a non too polite gesture.....Care two hoots.......It is a matter of , do something and you get moving ....stay passive and you  get stuck there for donkey years. Now, If only, she has a Chitty Chitty Bang! Bang! you know the little magical car that flies, she would zipped up and zoomed above each and everyone of them   and roar ahead of the whole crazy mass of mechanical tin cans!  Times like these, it would be  great to be a witch, in possesion of one of those wickedly powerful brooms..one sweep and the whole highway is clean....clear......Man!...what bliss....lording down the highway ...

The House of God

The  house of God, it is such a beautiful, sacred  place of refuge for a weary traveller, burden down by the daily trials and tribulations, the anxieties and the cares of daily living.....when the heart has misgivings and the paths obstructed by clouds of  confusion, and fear ....., when the road narrowed and fade into nothingnesss...and we do not know which direction to take....the dwelling place of God, becomes a sanctuary where divine clarity and peace, shines upon the faithful, who comes in faith to seek direction and place their trust in Him, our God and Father in heaven...

This writer sees the day of devotion,worship, praise -celebrating of the Eucharist as a re bonding and strengthening of our ties with the loving Father, our God. It is a time of detoxification....flushing out- the doubts,  the denial, the sinfulness. It is a day of grace and reassurance that we have a God and he watches over us....A rejuvenation of faith- a weekly family  reunion  - a joyous home-coming to the  Father's house and it always, always, gives her a very warm glow in her heart, not to mention nutrition to continue journeying.....

Friends, are you weary and tired and just want a shoulder to lean on?? This writer, she had been there before and the house of God, had always welcomed her and given her the comfort and the strength. Placing God in the centre of our lives, helps balance life's living, and somehow, night moves on into day, faster than you could imagine! PEOPLE!  FACT IS.....LIFE IS NEVER FAIR; IT IS GOD WHO MAKES THE DIFFERENCE....IT IS GOD WHO MAKES  LIFE WORTH LIVING AND PAVE THE WAY FOR US TO JOURNEY ON... 

The House of God, His Presence! A most comfortable shoulder to lean on indeed! It is here, you could pour out whatever you have in your heart and never, ever be slighted! Believe me!

Accountability

{The Lord Almighty says, "the day is coming when all proud and evil people will burn like straw. On that day, they will burn up and there will be nothing left of them. But for you who obey me, my saving power will rise on you like the sun and bring healing like the sun's ray. You will be as free and happy as calves let out of a stall. On the day when I act, you will overcome the wicked, and they will be like dust under your feet}. From the book of Malachi: 4.

These words  - the   promise of God's justice on the evil and the wicked ...that they become  dust...vapourising into nothing .....It is a warning...yet it's  like a very warm pair of arms holding the abused and victimized-close.....very close, whispering  comfort and solace to hearts maliciously thrashed and stabbed by the wickedness of others.... Wipe your tears, the Lord God sees all.....Evil doers will not escape the wrath of God....that's God's promise. We, the people of this Universe, irrespective, who we are....whatever our status , we are all accountable for our deeds......the faithful and the good will receive their rewards.. and the evildoers will burnt to naught!

A thought for the after life

Life after death....it is a subject which never bores because no one knows the actual answers and the more we speculate, the more interest is generated. Those who lost their breath for a moment or two and return, tells of entering a tunnel or seeing a beautiful light, and experiencing such beautiful peace that they want to enter the light and "cross over"  and that they had to be persuaded by the voices of the present to return to their bodies.....Truth or Myth???  We will never know until our soul is recalled and we walk that last journey. But the Book of Life tells us that there is definitely life after death and the good becomes like angels, living in the presence of the Lord God as his children.....Where we will go after death, really depends on how we live life in this temporary world of ours..

Someone recited a beautiful hymn today and mentioned that he would like it sung at his last goodbye when his time comes....Yours Truly could not help smiling...because she too has the habit of telling what she wants ahead of time.  We started this journey as a baby and bow out when our destiny has been fulfilled...no one knows when, but it is something,,every living being and creature must go through....That piece of puzzle must fall into place to complete the picture. But until the call comes,  life must  go on and within the boundaries given us. Happy living People!!!!

My Name is Khan, I am not a terrorist!!!

"My Name is Khan and I am not a terrorist" is a Hindi film with a difference....no dancing and singing but one which holds a strong social message,  pure,simple yet  forceful and strong- the appeal in the message  reaching out- gripping  and capturing your heart and somehow, comprehension of the awesome truth, brought forth the realisation that within each of us...resides that same  hope for respect, understanding, friendship- oneness with socieity, community, acceptance for what and who we are, irrespective of race, colour, creed or religion,  etc..and you teared from the sheer want , the needs, the call of the message ... . It is  cleverly projected through the simple minded and child like innocence of  the autistic Shahrukh Khan's character who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome. It was painful to watch him become  disorientated by the effects of  the  colour yellow and society does not understand. It takes just one person's understanding and care to make a difference!

His mother's love and his innocent trust in her words which makes the child, the grown up man..... cannot be more strongly projected .....how important it is to be cherished , nourished and taught well , from young.... good religious beliefs and upbringing, it keeps a person's light glowing throughout  his years..-

THERE ARE ONLY TWO TYPES OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD....THE GOOD AND THE BAD.....

We could, all of us learn from the  pure goodness, engaging truthfulness, single-mindedness, -and determination .of this autistic man , who goes out to meet the President and succeed....another message that ...nothing is impossible...if you have the will, the drive and of course the belief. .........Religion, Race,  colour, creed, what does it matter?????.....it is the heart, the soul.... which matters...People's Actions towards others.....are you a good person who does good or a Bad person who does bad, bad things.....?????  Having a Muslim name and being Muslim, does not mean, that person is a terrorist......Far from it...

Says, this writer- this message is applicable to the many  social differences which rears it ugly head in our own societies as well........being of a different Race, colour or Religion.....Christians, Hindus, Buddhists etc....  does not mean they, the people of other faith.. or race-should be treated badly or differently by any community...No community should be singled out and treated badly....just because of some bad apples in their community...there are bad apples in all society but that does not mean...all the apples are rotten....God created us equally, no different from the other....We are all brothers and sisters, with the same basic needs, equal rights to life on earth...... fellow travellers embarking on the journey of life....homeward bound.....GOD IS ONE. The only question is- Are you on the side of Goodness where the light shines or from the Bad side where darkness reign?????

Tribute to Mum

Thank you Mum, the years of sacrifice and love.....You were always there. but we, zoomed in and out....when time and mood  permits....We did not appreciate enough how precious, a mother's presence and love until God took you home.. and we became mothers and parents ourselves.......the years brought forth more understanding, and a thousand memories of your strength....and we realise....  no matter how much thanks are showered,......we still could not  thank you enough -for .........everything -just about everything mum! Thank you...

I slipped into God's presence today and prayed - He has brought you up to heaven, and bestowed His Peace  upon your soul  and   now you twinkle and shine among the stars above.....

Potluck Night-Lovely!!

Wink of an eye and October ends.... and time moves on.... Meaningful and beautiful, Tonights' rosary session ....and already, the prayer goes ahead for more prayerful, connected and bonding  Rosary Fellowships for the next year. And our very own Team Leader for the night says- Thank you all! A round of applause to all -those who opened their houses for Rosary and all who participated.! Heart warming and  endearing! 

And People!  the spread of lip smacking , finger licking tasties were sooooOOO good.......this writer forgot  her self imposed rule, eat sparingly at night..... and chomped in  more than she should. Probably the lovely blessing of the food added an irresistible  flavour and a touch of heavenly  goodness to tempt the taste buds of all who gathered for this special night. of  fellowship.

Man! does she love the ikan bilis  sambal and chicken rendang! Malu ! Malu! but, she shamelessly "ta pau" some ...Even taste good  with bread  her good sister assures her! Great stuff! Thanks all , especially Mr. & Mrs Host for the night , we sure wipe out  your prawn curry, didn't we ??? Drinks andddd... coffee as well -courtesy of the house,  wow! The fruits were big+++sss and the writer's very own Nonya  cakes sure added to the evening's sweetness! God Bless - People! Cheers!!!!!

The Faith that we Pray-Concluding session

 Praying from the heart and with the heart...reaching up to God. with absolute  belief.   Yours Truly  thought that was so beautiful...it describes perfectly the creation of a daily covenant...a splendid bond of love between man and his God..the Father.YT always felt that the crux of  growth  in our relationship with God ...is the capacity to deep feeling, from the interior ...reaching out until it  touches our Lord and our God and His total response to our call; embracing us. Sure, standard prayers  are important....but what she values most are spontaneous conversations with God, in the privacy of church and home.  They are more meaningful , because ...they come from herself, arising from her heart...

She came specially to seek  and comprehend the essence and  depth  of the Lord's Prayer. It may appear simple enough but the significance of each word, each phrase used must contain a wealth of meaning and purpose... Why is it known as the  total prayer???The CCC did not disappoint, but it is St. Augustine's reflections that provides the most nourishment and clarity.... the dark corridors are finally well lit.

"The Faith that we Pray" , was, brilliantly expressed.. A lot of efforts and work must have gone into the preparation...This writer is not going to thank the good Presenter, because he knows he has done a good job and that is satisfaction in itself. But if she could be so  permitted ......she thought the presenter's choice and use of words just brillant...with depths to depict  a thousand pictures...depending on how deep you want to peer into the ocean of knowledge. ...

Breaking up

A radio station, offered to hand over the " Dear John letter "  for anyone who does not know how to sing the  "wanna break up with you" song....and guess what? someone actually called in and asked this radio station to inform his fiancee of three years that their relationship had lost its sparkle and he wants to break up with her...all that on  national radio! Is he a jerk , an idiot or what???? People!What do you make of that???  Created drama or  a joke by the radio station or what????

The deejays actually called up the poor girl and very clumsily broke the sorry news to her! Totally unethical.Those  deejays should be suspended for even considering such an act!  It was obvious from the way the message was relayed that they ,the deejays were totally lacking in sensitivity...(this writer cringed  when she heard the exchange of x and ys) that girl was absolutely right! It was none of their @&;!!pqx???...business !!! That is crossing the line! Please!!!!And they thought it was funny ...going on and on....such a heart breaking, private matter over national radio.., names and all.....Man! how hurtful! how humiliated that poor girl must have felt...bad enough to be dumped after three years of relationship ..but to be fried over national radio???  Poor taste! Totally disgusting...the radio station should be hauled up for that horrible act! What if the humiliation were too much for the poor girl to bear and she does something stupid??? Will the radio station take responsibility??? 

Truly shocking! Beyond redemption! Not  even worth a cent !  What sort of a worm is that to humiliate the woman in his live in such a way???. She is certainly better off without him. He does not deserve her at all! Annie, honey! there are loads of good men out there, chin up and start life a new! Thank your lucky stars...you were not yet married to that monster...marriage to such a @@##?? would mean life long misery! A lucky escape!

This writer says, if  for some reason, any party ( could be either man or woman)wishes to breakup with their partner...for goodness sake....have the decency to do it privately....You owe the other party...that much respect , dignity, face, pride, goodwill and feelings....It is a very private matter and it involves just the two of you...bear that in mind! Over national radio???-what nonsense! Has the world gone bananas????

Human behaviour is certainly a very complex thing. Being too  supportive  and too nice to your "friends" is not a virtue, because 90% of the time, you will end up a loser; people have the tendency to take advantage of  good natured people  and step all over them. Correct dosage of everything and anything keep you balanced in any relationship, and give you enough clarity to see your way ahead.

Humans have a way of treating good natured people differently...easier to  find faults , because, they  are nice enough to  take whatever  nonsense, thrown their way, and at the end of it all, still reach out and hold your hand. People find it easier to label good natured humans as 'bad" at the slightest .....do not   even dare retaliate in anger or  hurt, or the  echoes of  " he/she is  so very sensitive lah- etc..etc..will ring all over the place but of course, the not so nice has the right to react in anger, if they hear any negative comments about themselves............

Justice is supposed to balance and stand on its own...but this universe allows the "have all" to sit on the "have nots"...... and the strong to overshadow the weak.   Humans, what do we make  of  ourselves?????

Cut the complications,  state your stand and be yourself right from the beginning. Do the mutual check on each other - what tick you and I???What tickers and what injures??? What bonds, what disintegrates???? Together, walk on even grounds, neither shall stand on higher or lower grounds...,  speak a common language and dance to the same tune..no stepping on each other's toes.........mutual respect for each other....And please have a genuine heart. Jom! lets have a cup of coffee together????

Rosary

This writer  was putting up at this five star hotel in the  heart of town, when she  had a weird encounter   of  the third kind.... a touch of evil....just after midnight, she awoke to this   distinct feeling of  being the focus of unwanted attention....  something unseen was lurking in the room.........and that evil had moments ago tried  to pull her spirit out from the back of her head. ( in a dreamlike state she had felt a hand tugging at her head, pulling her hair and she turned and saw this presence.) ......Strange, She felt no fear , only her head felt really heavy.....Fearing an intruder,  she  got up to check inside the bathroom, and  rattled the lock of her hotel room....Secured enough, but she doubled locked it., just in case..... a short while later....there was this very funny music, almost like a snake charmer doing his thing.... the sound leaving her room and slowly fading away, into the night....then everything fell silent........and with it a soothing calm, like whatever it was had left the scene...... she was wearing the rosary as a necklace with another one under her pillow...her norm, whenever she stays out....and that had probably lend her confidence....like  angels stand guard  over her...and whatever happens...God is watching and watching over her!

Workshop-OLL

Tis, this writer's third week into the Intro to the Catechism of the Catholic church and I tell you people, it is good stuff! The Head Chef  was well prepared , plenty of tasty  house  specialities.....to savour   ...Good doses of Wisdom and nutrients from the Book of Life  to keep the body, mind and soul, strong and healthy.  A wealth of knowledge , not only for all facilitors to enrich  their young charges with, but also, lay people like you and me, ...we are like newly planted seeds....watered, given fertilizers, and total care....nutured that we may thrive and blossom into strong and solid oak trees, capable of giving shade to others even if it is just for a little while .....

But with knowledge and life's pointers..... also came so many questions, ....a compliment really, because if there are no questions, it just mean, people are not listening or do not understand you, but if you could get people to come up to you wanting to know more, willing to open windows into  their locked rooms  and what nots.......... it is an applause indeed! 

Saturday, 23rd Oct 10 ......comes with a wonderful dish -"The Faith that we pray" ....that is the final session . If you have missed the last three sessions, it is still not too late...drop by next Saturday, have a plateful of goodies.... and that will detoxify your systems and  renew, purify  your mind, body and soul... not to be missed!

Annual Seniors Night -HRC

It was a jolly fun night, the Annual Seniors night -Holy Redeemer Church Klang.  Thanksgiving not only for the night's subsistence but for the night itself. Was it 38 tables?? The band was entertaining; the MC, witty and full of humour, the crowd eager and supportive! And All in their Sunday best! What a night! .......The popular hotties of the seventies and eighties opened  the doorways back into memory lane and all of a sudden the years  rolled back and this writer saw this bunch of kids, doing the popular twists and  the rock and roll dances of the era.. on the dance floor...She was one of those dancing the night away...Ahem!  night away means 10.00p.m. and it's lights out and no Buts! Ah! Those were the days!

But let not everything be memories because seniors could live life to the fullest and enjoy them current time and every step into the sunset! Most of our duties are done, and we should let our hair down a little and smile with the sunshine.....If not now, WHEN????

I am nothing, without You Lord...the breath of my existence!..Let Your Grace lift up my spirit Oh God!  Your Divine Powers spring forth thriving Faith , daily growing steadfast within me!

Baby Kai Lan or Cabbage????

We were baby kai-lan ed  or was it cabbaged by one restaurant with a rather catchy name of Fatty ??? Chef something...something ..
tonight.  On top of their house specialities, we ordered baby kai lan.... and when it came.... The baby kai lan  looked and tasted very much like the cabbage it was.....and so we asked the server...what is this  ???? Baby Kai Lan she answered! Good Gracioous!  A miracle had just occurred! The baby kai lan had turned into cabbage! What a phenomenon!!! And Pricey too! Maybe we looked like aliens from outer space who had never seen or eaten baby kai lan before! ???? Unbelievable!!!Anyway,  big XXX .........

Beautiful Sunset mass @ HRC Klang

AMEN!!!

One of the most relevant and meaningful question asked Saturday, during sunset mass  was the WHY??? question, very simply put forward - asked in the context when receiving the bread of life....WHY some parishioners do not response to the  proclamation "Body of Christ" by a very revered "AMEN" when receiving the Eucharist...when it signifies our acceptance, faith and  belief that we are indeed receiving the body of Christ and welcoming his divine presence into our being and our life....Jesus the Christ is Lord, very real...and from Him gushes forth the power of faith to make all things possible...When a prayer ends with an AMEN, .....in Jesus' Name AMEN......it is a total prayer in itself.. it signifies " let it  be done , complete with your own trust and faith...that it will be done". To this writer, a prayer without an AMEN attached is not a complete prayer....a part was left hanging.....It has not been sealed with the grace of faith.. OK, Ok.....just this writer's opinion.....she is also not comfortable , NOT sealing the Lord's Prayer with an AMEN...as well... to her , it is an act of total faith, that  it will be done. The prayer has been sent up and the Father  has heard.

How many have sung the hymn Faith, love and Charity and allowed those virtues to actualize into actions??? Did awareness rise forth that -belief in God is synonymous with practicing these three  basic essentials-  key elements to achieving peace, and happiness???? -why key???because such acts beautifies the soul and opens the gateway to  the Giver of Life, our  God Himself.  Beautiful! and it tells us to make our choices wisely in life if ever, we were asked to pick our gifts from amongst the many earthly treasures this life has to offer...it will decide  whether you travel upwards to joyous peace or into darkness and pain...

p/s the writer is still chewing on the words of the parish priest....  Belief, it should be more than just blind acceptance, mere routine or habit.... without the feel.....it should come with  deep faith - strong conviction rising forth from within your heart and your very being......... alive, thriving  and growing ,gathering strength daily ...absolutely believing that it actionized into deeds of love, walking  and spreading the word of God...... just like Paul, because he truly believes.... makes sense.......Inspiring indeed!

Healing Faith-OLL

The Lord  will never forget us, and  will be with us until the end of time...and beyond..It is this great promise which comforts,  heals and brings about transformation and peace to disturbed minds,  lost, burden  and lonely souls, broken and hurt  by the endless demands and cruelty  of this human world...Yes, many a times, the hurtful and heartless actions of others...... drive us to  the brink of despair ...it is as though there is no good, genuine or sincere soul out there...none at all! ...

But the Lord, He embraces  those who comes and lay all their tears and fears  at his feet...those who believes that nothing is impossible with Him who brought life to this Universe...He breathes his peace and grace into trusting souls and Beings... HEALS........;.disperses dark brooding clouds, clears life's blockages  and caused the sun to emerge and shine again...moulding new paths ,  new directions...new HOPE, or simply bringing new insight, fresh understanding, open our eyes and  hearts to avenues, which were perhaps already there ...., but were being obscured by our own egos, or pig-headedness etc.. .....

He has so much to offer us and He has only one simple request, that we trust and believe in Him...... that we be like little children innocent in our  belief and  the kingdom of God, is given us....in this particular  context, with specific reference to healing...she, Marie believes, it is  being made whole again - with all brokenness fixed- etc..etc.. ........Friends, brothers and sisters...doesn't it sound like the Lord is telling us that with simple faith and belief comes great miracles and rewards??? "If you ask the mountain to move yonder, it will move yonder..if you believe....."

 Folks if it is healing, you desire and you come with deep faith....... you will return healed, you will have your troubles fixed; ....although it may not KA boom!!!! upon you, at that particular moment of time, but over the coming days and weeks goodness moves in slowly but surely to transform your everything.... and before you knew it..all is fine..The storm has blown over and calm is restored....

This writer had been lost many, many times both literally and figuratively...like  when she travels and ventures into unfamiliar territory .., suffered panic attacks (which is very often and that is just crazy!) ....there is always an angel who stops to help her.....and when life overwhelms.....and  when faith dims...He sends caring souls and  angels to lend their strength and remind her that He, the Lord God  is very much with her .....Indeed ! He is right by her side.....And He is right by your side too folks....if you will just allow your conscious, your Being- to manifest His Presence in you and allow the power of your faith to surface  and the grace of His Holy Spirit to work their wonders in your life and put everything right for you ..... 

Lazarus and the Rich man -St Anne's PKlg

How many Lazarus among us crying out for crumbs and scraps that fell off the tables of rich men and never got them! (Open your minds, people...crumbs, scraps.., food  to feed the hungry stomach -sure.... but they could jolly well refer to hunger and want of love, of care, justice, be fair...or just plain attention!!!!! as well...)  Our eyes and ears are very often closed to the plight of the needy and marginalised...and if we were the less fortunate...how often does people hear our cries for that matter???

Hey, folks! How many  hard working poor  worked their lives away, only to have whatever credits due to them stolen by the rich....they never got their fair share of the rewards and while they remained at their level, or even poorer, the pockets of the rich got heavier and more bulky! Sad but true.. So, "Rich men"  out there initiate change! Think -a fair amount of giving and sharing...think a little happiness for others...

And yet how many Lazarus out there are being exploited of their intelligence and talents by so call friends, or beneficiaries ......but these people turned out to be "rich men"  instead....The world is full of robbers, self righteous judges, actors and wolves in sheeps' clothings......who are we to trust ????? Why, we even bite our own tongue sometimes.....and believe it or not even loved ones could be your tormentors....we have read enough of such horror stories in the media, have we not????? Husbands stealing from  wives so that they could set up home with another woman or simply sell the Chasity of their wives for money.....Fathers, yes, fathers....attacking their own flesh and blood for sexual gratification.....hey, we have also so called "mothers" as well ....abusing their children ...or failing to stop their partners from hurting their own children.. they would rather, their children were killed, rather than lose their wicked partners....... How many Lazarus images staring from the faces of old folks, abandoned by their heartless children....pushed into the shadows etc....etc.....so many,  many Lazarus situations ...in our societies, our own homes...so many Lazarus .crying out for help....The world is full of injustices, deceit and mirages... selfishness...we sometimes do not know where to turn to for comfort... for just a little care....Our friends,  are they really our friends...OR do they have an agenda?????  Are they wolves preying on our naiveness...just waiting to swallow us whole,???.

People,  could we initiate and practice good  change to fill our hearts, mind and soul?? Could we allow  goodness to  take over -at least eliminating a portion of our Human weaknesses- that our hearts, minds, ears and eyes become  more open and compassionate to the call of justice and needs of all the Lazarus es out there in our societies, communities ...even in our own households.?? ....This writer says, -the first step....Practice Sincerity....Do unto others, what you would others  do unto  you....

In this present time..God has more relevance than ever....the Presence of God is a Divine gift, people should hold on to and never let go...this world.... everything  is plastic, dark and so false. Who can we rely on??; who can we trust???? except - the Lord  of Peace-who came out of love and died for love of sinners,like you and me??? ....Now, I do not know about you people, but to this writer, we people of Faith are so blessed because, we could rely on the strength of our God and  His Holy Spirit to lift us up,balance our lives and keep us going.... through good and bad times....When the clothes of Lazarus are thrown at us and we are forced to sit out in the cold.....there He is,  with his blankets and a hot cup of coffee to keep us warm...IF we turn our TRUST to Him, that is....When the doors are closed in our faces.....and we become the Lazarus of this world....He turns on the Lights in His Home and invites us in......And that trust and faith has been the ever-glowing rainbow that brings Heaven down to Earth....for this writer.. Thank You God..
