Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament & Procession

The annual Parish Feast and Novena 2013 of Our Lady of Lourdes Church Klang started off with a beautiful  Eucharistic celebration. last evening, Sat, 2nd Feb. The main celebrant of the evening was Fr. Simon Labrooy, con-celebrating with parish priest, Fr. Michael Chua and Fr. A. George .

This was later followed by  a mini candle light procession of the Holy Sacrament taking a short route  to the traffic lights just before Little India Klang  circling back to  the main Round About near the church premise, and returning to the church building  . An air of solemn religious reverence were observed through the procession..silence is the key, focusing on the presence of God.

The elderly and those not able to walk joined the procession on wheel chairs. It was truly a walk of Faith!!

The colourful and solemn procession, charged with
immense reverence for the Holy Sacrament.
Adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament
Back  in the church premise after the candle light procession, the team of Revs.  together with  Deacon Simon lead parishioners in the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament before the conclusion of the celebrations for the evening.

The massive crowd who came for the  celebrations were not left hungry and thirsty...thoughtful donors had provided light snacks and many volunteers were on hand to serve their fellow faithful and pilgrims. There were plenty of drinks for those who were thirsty- my thoughts, when offered the bread and drinks were..... How appropriate and meaningful...we were there to drink of the water of life and they fed us food and drinks for our  physical body as well!!. God Bless!!
