Successful living =being prepared at all times.

Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. Matthew 24:45

It is a living Teaching -" Be Alert- be prepared and in readiness at all times". Sure the scripture tells us to be ready for the Lord's coming...for we do not know the day or the time, of the Master's return. Look deeply into His wisdom folks, He is also telling us the importance and the rewards of being prepared and in readiness at all times, in our earthly living. He is teaching us survival skills.....

I personally take that as  "be equipped with new skills, new knowledge...be prepared-do your daily works well, whether you are company CEO, lawyer, engineer, scientist, housewife and so forth, a little planning goes a long way..... In every position, every task assigned you...be prepared for all eventualities...look one step ahead-always have a plan B. Be reliable and true to your commitments and  responsibilities and  you would have built a survival  fortress around yourself.
