"I am the resurrection and the Life, he who believes in me and though he dies, yet he shall live and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. " John 11:25
I just love those words, the significance, even the every sound of it..It's pure music to the spirit and the soul. A promise made with such authority, certainty.. the manifestation of life's hope...
Our luggage, our baggage gets heavier as we blend further into the earthy sphere, as we journey deeper into the smog and pollution. Our sight is shrouded , clarity is obstructed.
The illusive call of the world tasks us with more responsibilities, obligations and commitments that is so overwhelming that sometimes, many times, we just want to stop by the highway for a little relief....regain our energy.... to rest those tired feet and body. Where can we find the Relief Stop , the little oasis where faith yeast up belief, that it plump up and grows? Where can we find the life giving nectar that brings the wealth of meaning to the purpose of Life itself??
John 11:25 beautifully tells us to seek out the Resurrection and Life himself. You cannot find meaning and purpose to your life until you have found the tree of Life Himself, the nourisher, the living breath of your very being!!
