Spiritual Warfare-Continue/-

Nothing is more powerful than the powers of the Holy Spirit of God. The Father is up above overseeing, watching, the Son-Holy Redeemer has come-brought in salvation , died, arisen and seated at the right hand of the Father and in His place, He  has sent the Holy Counsellor , the Comforter to be the light and  power to guide and assist  mankind until He comes again.

This is the age of the Holy Spirit of God -a great gift from the above. Remember the scene at the upper room, when the Holy Mother await with the first disciples? The Holy spirit came upon them like tongues of fire and they spoke in tongues so that people of all nationality and dialects understood what they were saying.  Great power came upon them with the baptism of the Holy spirit and the apostles and first disciples were able to go out into the world and do wondrous works to glorify God. The power is immense, beyond words and description. But the laying of hands and praying over the sick and the afflicted is not for all. You have to be spiritual strong and very definite of the power of God in you, you need to possess the faith that move mountains, before you could administer such works. A combination of great faith,
manifested by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The dark angels, servants of Satan  are a jealous and selfish lot. They cannot stand happiness. They are always envious and would do anything to lead  converted souls into their Hell Land and to banish trust, so that the cleansed become  even worse off, when evil re-occupies their sparkling clean space..  Be watchful and supportive of  your weaker brethren.Some people may appear strong, but really, they are weak. Worse still, they do not know how to approach you for more help.  Their most blessed time is when they receive the grace of the Holy Spirit but the period after is  also their  most vulnerable. 

I've heard of a Charismatic group who, with  the power of the Holy Spirit heals.They have a group of spiritually  strong leaders, devoted to prayer and healing, around ten of  them lead by their pastor. Testimonies has it that those sick  and troubled were healed after the powerful praying over. It started with marked improvements and then complete cure. This particular aunty was diagnose with terminal cancer, with only a few months to live but after being continuously prayed over, she is still here today, years after her predicted expiry date. The doctors were surprised but who is more powerful and greater than God? 

There was even a case of a businessman (a non Christian)  who for no valid reason,suffered repeated setbacks; he was on the verge of collapse  until a Christian friend took him to see his pastor. After  the first praying over, he went back home with hope and confidence..consequent praying over saw more obstacles disappearing. When things started to work for him, faith came in and he accepted Christ. Apparently, today, he is one of the corner stones  who help fund the church and its various activities. God works in mysterious ways.

Then there were stories about -some of the inspired among them, the less spirituality  strong. In the goodness of their heart, they foolishly  attempted to help their friends on their own. Feedback was that they could feel power draining out of themselves and while their friends got better, they became sick. So for the enthusiastic novice out there, do not attempt to do such powerful works alone, your faith may not be strong enough to sustain you. You may not fully understand that it is not you but the Holy Spirit, the power divine - who heals and the evil one could use that misconception to get at you.

Get your spiritual leader and others and together, you can work miracles in the name of Christ Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember consistent support is essential in the beginning. Afterwards, you have to maintain, constant prayers, constant bonding with God. This is not a one off power charge thing. It is charging and recharging until solid strong. You have to help ensure that the good remains and the dark powers are not allowed to inflict  revenge of sufferings and hardship on the newly healed. Of course not all become victims, but the dark one does have some targets and  leaders  must recognised the needs of  those caught in the snarls of spiritual warfare.

Marvellous stories come from the other Christian denominations -nothing very much from the catholics. Yes, we do have healing  in Catholic charismatic sessions. I experience something wonderful some years back during a charismatic session at HRC Klang but  I also suffered some unexplained spiritual bashing, sometime afterwards. My faith was wobbly then. Intercessions by the Holy Mother lead me back to healing again and the Holy Spirit became a crucial element of my faith.. And now  a catholic Charismatic Renewal gathering has been organised - that's great news-(check  out the current issue of Herald)-soon to be held in Genting Highlands and the beautiful thing is that it is lead by a priest, someone young, dynamic  and very God focus-Fr. Gregory Chan. I  expect many spiritually  strong  leaders to be  there to assist and for sure many miracles will  manifest. With a such a big crowd and power of  prayers over  a three days period , certainly, great things are  in store, 

Final but no least,, remember to  insert  an after healing service clause.  Sometimes, the spiritual warfare may be too intense for the newly healed to handle. I, for one,  will ever be immensely grateful to the Holy Mother for being there when I was spiritually bashed and caught in the intense spiritual warfare  back then and to a certain priest whom the Holy Mother sent to pray over me.

Help those who come and got healed to  get a firm hold on the  holy power that healed them, help them fortify their faith for lasting goodness to remain with them. Onward Christian soldiers.....
