The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.-Proverb 22:7

How true the words of the wise man...the rich  indeed rule over the poor. He may be one and  millions the poor, yet the will of a single  rich man  prevail because the poor  have to eat and the rich man owns the rice mill. 

The poor survive from the sweat of their brow and the pittance of their wages. They toil daily to increase the wealth of the rich and yet are suppressed, and disciplined, their intelligence insulted  for their pains. 

Wise the man who strike out on his own, then he owns the  harvest and  his own strongroom and surely  his own master be!

Better to survive within your means than to resort to borrowing because the more you borrow, the more indebted, the more enslaved  and poorer you'll be.
