St. Anne's Feast. First Day Novena

Parish Priest
Fr. Lawrence
St. Anne, Port Klang
We have a God who knows us by name. He walks with us!  He calls out to us!  Come and meet this God! Have a personal encounter with him!
Fr.  VA Michael, powerfully
speaking out for God
What a powerful sermon ! Charismatic priest Father VA Michael sure knows his Bible and the powerful quotes from Isaiah  rang out so  powerfully, it goes deep  into the heart and  there was this urge to speak to God, immediately  there and then and Yours Truly was not the only person having this feeling. She spied a number of people with hands discreetly held out in prayers, eyes closed...having a personal moment with God..I've heard Fr. VA Michael speak before at St. Jude's Rawang-powerful, very powerful and tonight, he stood -a brilliant  shepherd and soldier of God.. He reminded the assembly, the congregation  that God is always there for them. Come back to God!!  He cares for you! Let Him watch over you!

"I have called you by your name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle on you.For I am the LORD your God." . Isaiah 43.  What could be more asssuring than the steadfast and true promises of God'??   What could be more promising than His love for us? Surreal, the feel of His very presence!

Somehow St. Anne's Feast always, always, rekindle the feelings of getting back to God. Tonight's  reminder and advice was down right beautiful -so true - ..look for God not only within the compounds of the church but outside as well. He is everywhere, not confined to any specific space and place. Be Christ like in your actions. Mere words alone carries no merit whether in the sight of your fellow brethren (for it is by example that you truly teach)  or in the sight of God , because He does not stand in the distance. He is in our midst, together with us! And, He sees everything!!

See you  tomorrow night  (Saturday, 20th July 2013) at St. Anne's.guys!  5.00 p.m. mass is in Tamil - the 7.30p.m. mass  in English.
