The Faith, that comes from the Feast of St. Anne

A sea of people! My family and I were at St. Anne's before six ,probably around five forty five last evening and 98% of whatever seats the parish readied for the faithful had been snapped up. We had to split up and sit wherever we could find the seats. I clung on to one spare seat and my husband another, some distance away. We had  two late comers rushing back for mass and when they finally did arrived it was like....what der??Has the whole world turned up for St. Anne's Feast at Port Klang? There was no parking. The nearby residential lanes were full, the designated parking were full house, the everywhere were packed!!

By 6.30p.m. before mass began, the compound of the church  was so jammed, sardine packed  with people,  you can't even move from the gates in. YT looked behind at the road outside...hooh! Filled to the brim with people!~ Hundreds and at least a couple of thousands of faithful had gathered-all in their own ways, hopeful of favours granted!!

St, Anne's Feast continues to  amaze me , the increasing thousands who kept coming  to her for assistance- the miracles worked and favours granted.  St. Anne's feast is indeed a place where God makes his powerful presence felt  in love of his earthly grandmother to work great miracles of care and love.Such fervour , such appreciation ! We can only thank St. Anne's feast that we get  to witness such devotion and fortify our own faith as well! And that faith is in God who stands with St. Anne.  It is a lesson in itself...as the Lord loves his grandmother and his earthly family, so too, should we love our own family and the elderly in our individual fold.

The evening mass was presided over by much loved Fr. Simon Pereira, from Singapore...the theme-The Lord's Prayer and he gets you to pray and drink in each and every single word of the Lord's prayer. The power is in the very words of the prayer.   Truly  the complete prayer and if you were to focus on its significance, the Lord's prayer does indeed cover your entire  needs and the protection of deliverance from the evil one. That's empowering! God bless you Fr. Simon.

Till we meet again next year when good St. Anne celebrates her Feast Day!
